This is a special limited production White Tea produced in early spring 2019. It has become a new family favorite. A beautiful honey colored liquor produces a complex flavor with floral notes and a hint of herbs giving way to a lingering dry finish. Since it comes from the Darjeeling cultivars, it has a distinctive flavor that must be experienced.
| Drawing from the mist that rises off the River Rungeet in the month of April, this light White tea is made from only the most tender shoots plucked from fields in Glenburn that grow the prized clonal bushes. The leaves remain intact even as they are infused for the brew. This specialty tea is made in very small batches using only the most experienced tea pickers. It is manufactured with extreme care in a process similar to a White Tea. Though closest to a white tea, it almost defies classification. |
