This delicious Keemun has a smooth, rich flavor with hints of wine and cocoa and a subtle hint of smokiness. It has a deep copper liquor. Perfect for taking the chill off a blustery day, this tea is great after dinner or for breakfast.

Produced in Anhui Province, Keemun is considered the best black tea that China produces and is referred to as "King of Red Tea" because of its outstanding bouquet. Developed by a Chinese mandarin in 1875 to satiate the increasing demand for tea in Europe, Keemun quickly became the primary tea export of late 19th century imperial China.

Mao Feng refers to the unshaped leaves. It is a superior grade of Keemun with an unusually long wiry leaf, deep delicious aroma, and rich flavor.
