Huo Shan Huang Ya, a rare yellow tea, reveals a delicate sweetness that whispers with enchantment. The intoxicating perfume of the dry leaves produces a velvety elixir intertwined with notes of honey and chestnuts.

Huo Shan Huang Ya is produced in the in Huoshan County of Anhui Province from a special local tea cultivar Huoshan Jinjizhong 霍山金鸡种 in Huoshan. This tea was harvested in early April 2024 however production of this tea dates back to the Han Dyanasty (200 BC - 220 AD)

Huo Shan Huang Ya processing follows a series of steps: Plucking, frying, primary and second baking, sorting, and piling. The tea leaves are withered, fried, and baked before undergoing a unique process called piling, where the color and taste are improved. Finally, the tea is given a final baking at a lower temperature.
