Houjicha Latte
Paula Stocker
Looking for a delicious hot drink that can be enjoyed anytime of day? We love this Houjicha latte made with Organic Houjicha powder and oatmilk. You can substitute any milk or alternative.
We made a simple syrup of equal amounts of sugar and water in a saucepan and bring to boil over medium heat until sugar is completely dissolved. Then allow to cool and use for lemonade, cocktails and other beverages. You can use other sweeteners, but simple syrup is great because it blends well and has a clean flavor that doesn't overpower the tea.
Because Zerama Tea Organic Houjicha Powder is made from the roasted stems of the green tea plant, it contains very little caffiene. The roasting creates a caramelized flavor that is so comforting and delicious. It is the perfect treat for any time of day.
